therapeutic and educational gardens:  biodynamic
horticulture, design, garden therapy, garden education,
curriculum development and garden storytelling.  Rita
Howard is educated, experienced and skilled in all of these
areas. She is particularly concerned about obesity and

Mission Statement:

To train the next generation of garden therapists and
educators using biodynamic horticulture to address
contemporary issues and the demands of our times.

To cooperatively design and create outdoor spaces that are
welcoming, supportive, nurturing and sacred.

To cultivate the natural inclination in people and other
beings to be healthy and to live sustainably.

To participate in simple methods of gardening in
cooperation with Nature. To work in gardens utilizing a
variety of ways of knowing and the magic of the unknowable.
